Durango

Just THREE days after we moved in to our new home in Charlotte, we took off towards the west for our annual Lake Powell trip. We planned to be gone 2.5 weeks and make a stop before and after Lake Powell. The first stop on our trip was to meet up with Dad R. and Trish in Durango for a few days before heading to the lake! This first pic was taken in the panhandle of TX somewhere during our long drive. ha! Anyways, in Durango, we got to enjoy some fun off-roading in the mountains, beautiful waterfall hiking, and Grandpa's hot tub on the balcony of their cabin. The kids loved taking turns riding with their dad in the Commander (yellow off-road vehicle) up and down the rocky trails.  SUCH a fun and amazingly beautiful few days. It felt so nice to just relax and enjoy the amazing views of the Rocky Mountains. Kids loved being able to see Grandma and Grandpa.
