April fun

Ivy wrote this little picture at school one day. Made me smile! "A voice teacher teaches students how to sing." She wrote it back in February, but I don't think it was sent home until now.

Garage sale fun! I did a joint garage sale with friends not to long ago. It was quite a bit of work but I sold about 2/3 of what I had! I'd say it was successful!

I can't remember if these were on the same day or not. Or if Ivy just happens to be wearing the same dress both days. Hehe.. either way, just a few pics from some fun spring activities.. I made some cash from a garage sale I held so we decided to go buy the kids some decent pedal bikes. Hooray! Ivy is already a pro. I think Marshall's legs need to grow a little longer. lol:

Last MNO with Mom's club

I decided to host Mom's Night Out at my house one more time so I could spend some time with my favorite mama's before we leave town for good! It was on the last Saturday of the month and I just set up the theme of "Sweet and Savory Game Night." Asked everyone to bring something sweet or savory and it was a hit! Easy peasy! I also just provided some games and asked a few other girls to bring some fun party games we could play. I was pretty surprised with just how many mama's showed up. It really was a fun evening full of laughs, good conversation and great food! Glad we were able to get together one last time!

Sarah's baby shower

The last weekend in April, my good friend Sarah (she's in the last picture) had a baby shower at this lady's home up on the hill a ways. This house was so very cool! The view was really incredible. It was a wonderful evening celebrating a new baby on the way! Glad I got to have a nice quiet evening with some lovely women before the craziness of May began!
