Ivy's preschool class and sprinkler fun

This picture was taken on one of Ivy's last days of preschool at the beginning of May... Her little class was so perfect for having a taste of what it will be like next year when we register her for real pre-k! She did so well and we LOVED her teacher, Clarissa, who would even have a different snack every day for the kids to try. I have to attribute Ivy learning to eat bread, to Clarissa this year! Ha! Thanks Clarissa! They also did lots of painting, learning colors, textures, and other fun games! Such a fun year. :)

During the last week of school, we asked a few friends over to come play in the sprinklers in our backyard-- My friend Mandy came (bringing Ivy's friend Quinn from preschool) and good friend Rachel came (bringing her baby girl). It was a fun afternoon! My camera has been out of commission these past few months so I was excited when Rachel let me borrow her camera to capture some moments.. Thanks Rachel! And thanks Mandy and Rachel for coming! Glad everyone had fun. :)

8 years!

This last year really has just flown by and I can't believe we have been married for 8 years already! I feel like we are veterans now! Ha! It really has been such a great year filled with amazing fun and laughter and although it was the most difficult year here, school wise, we've never felt closer! Love this man of mine so much and love our little family and how much fun we have together. Celebrated fancy and went out with the kids to Cracker Barrel. Haha.. (we actually had a trip to Nashville planned for when my mom came to visit two weeks later so just kept things low-key.)

April fun

Just the leftover moments from our every day life back in April that I wanted to include....
Ivy's outfits of choice have gotten quite creative lately. She cracks me up. And unless she has to go to school or we are going on an outting of some sort, I usually let her wear whatever she wants.
Evening walk with daddy.. Ivy of course, dressed herself for this walk, lol:
"....but MOM, it's too hard to carry all the toys with a baby in my tummy..." So true, Ivy. So true:
My little escape artist.. the right picture is eating meatloaf for dinner and loving it! The kid had 3 helpings! Meat eater for sure, hehe:
Cutest yoga partner:
My pretty girl showing off her hairsyles:

Finally warm enough for sprinklers!
Playing with a moth.. Marshall's fascination with bugs is growing, lol:
Park time with friends! The weather was so perfect for a few weeks! Nice and warm with a cool breeze. This was on Pierce's first birthday!

Poor baby fell off the back of the couch and got this sad scratch on his face. Hopefully he won't be trying that again for a while, lol:
Trying out new recipes.. Lemon pasta with asparagus and chicken, fish tacos, and tried my hand at a whole turkey! Wasn't too bad but I still have a lot to learn in that department, haha:

Playing quietly together, for once. lol:
