Steve and Sarra, and Jeff and Michelle were able to stick around for a couple days after the graduation. So Sunday we headed to Warriors Path State Park for some disc golf, and playtime in the stream. Hehe.. Afterwards, we took the kids swimming for an hour or so at the YMCA and then put the kids to bed so the grown-ups could go out for a nice Mother's Day dinner. All in all, it was a good day with great company, of course. The only weird hiccup was the power went out in our house in the middle of the day, which sometimes happens, but it didn't come back on until late in the middle of the night! So after swimming in the late afternoon, we came home to a fairly warm house, and no lights! The younger kids were all pretty tired so putting them to bed once it got dark outside wasnt a problem. However, when we came back from dinner with the grown-ups, there were STILL no lights! We tried lighting candles to see if we could play a game together, but it was a lost cause. Most of us were too tired for a game anyways. Lol! That last pic Sam is laying on the bench.
