Texas Christmas Part 4 (New Years and more)

(Our trip was close to 3 weeks long which means there are more pictures than normal. I divided the posts into different parts just so it's not one long gigantic post.)

Our last post of Christmas pics... Sam and his bros (and Michelle) would go on daily disc golf runs and then stop at some restaurant on their way home for lunch (seriously, it was almost every single day). They tried out Killen's BBQ in Pearland TX one afternoon. This is one of those popular places where you stand in line for close to two hours and they usually run out of food sometime in the afternoon for the rest of the day! Apparently it's a pretty happenin' place. Sam said their pork ribs were lacking but their beef ribs were spot on!
This phone pic of Ivy and Sam isn't the best but it was so cute to watch, just because her princess dress was so big as she bounced! hehe.. AND the best donut place ever, I am totally craving it now. Seriously, this maple donut was the bomb. Had to document, lol:
A peak into playing games with the robinson clan:
Out with my girl, Tiffany, for an impromptu dinner date one night. It was a much needed break! I miss this girl ever single day I am not in Texas! Love you, girl!
New Year's Eve we spent the day with my family at a big city mall. Ivy had a blast at the huge playground and train while the older cousins ice skated. Then we got lunch together. Oh and can't forget the carousel. It was Marshall's first time actually riding! He was a big fan, of course:
Later that night, we celebrated New Year's Eve at Jeff's house with lots of cousins, games and treats! I spent lots of time laughing and hanging with Whitney while Sam enjoyed playing guitar and what not with Jeff. (Whitney had just finished her semester of school, therefore had lots of time off to chill with us while we were down there! Lucky me!) Everyone in the house, besides my younger kids, surprisingly stayed up all the way until midnight! Sam may or may not have fallen asleep for a brief moment before the actual countdown but I made sure he woke up for it, lol:
Took a little family outing to the Butterfly Museum at the Natural History Museum the day before we were to head back to TN. We wanted to get out and do something together and this was actually cheaper than a movie! And more fun, of course. Kids thought it was the coolest thing! We left for home the next morning..

Just have to give a BIG thank you to Jeff and Michelle for letting us stay at their home once again, AND to my big bro Tyson whose house we crashed both on the way down and on our way back up to TN. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! We feel so blessed to have family that takes care of us so well! And we are already missing everyone so dearly! Just a few snapshots of staying at Tyson and Valerie's in Mississippi:
