I love that there are hikes and walks within just a few minutes drive from our house. These photos are all from around the Kingsport area back in August, mostly next to the Greenbelt walkway they have along the river. There are some bridges here and there that you can cross... Just so pretty!

Someone randomly knocked on my door and handed me a bag full of coupons and goodies from stores around this area! She just asked if she had the right person, then said "Welcome to Kingsport!" Some of them are pretty generous! Definitely made us feel welcome:
Driving out to see another park in the area, Laurel Run:
We tried out the Kingsport Carousel for the first time and it was a hit! Wish they didn't charge for the parents to ride too but oh well. Not too pricy for every now and again. It's all hand carved and hand painted. All of the animals and artwork is really amazing to see!
