We finally made the trek down to Houston and it went as smooth as any trip that long could! Kids were happy, most of the time. And enjoyed their new "boogie boards" that we got them as a pre-Christmas-road-trip gift. We got to Jeff's house and Sam was promptly fitted with the proper attire of the next couple weeks. These boys, er, cowboys just love a good suit jacket and hat. haha:
Enjoyed (sort of) my first humid run in Texas. Then finished up the morning with some snuggles:
I drove up to meet Kelli (+fam) and mom and dad at MOD pizza for dinner over the weekend. Kids were tired this evening so Sam offered to stay back and put them to bed for me. We had fun walking around the new "Boardwalk" near Kelli's house:

Michael's birthday party was on Monday. He had a Nerf Gun party and they invited my kids to tag along with the big kids Nerf War. Ha! This was seriously one fun party! It was hilarious watching these kids play capture the flag in this setting. They were totally into it! Happy Birthday to Michael!
