Took an afternoon to go hang at my bestie's house with her kiddos. Can't let a visit go by without catching up with Tiffany. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to her read to our girls "The Book with no Pictures." Ivy thought this was the funniest book ever. I got some good cuddles in with Evie girl! And it was adorable to see that Kynlee and Ivy are finally old enough to really enjoy each other's company without needing our full supervision. We honestly didn't see them much the whole time I was there. lol! These kids are sure growing up quick! Really wish we lived closer or at least got to visit more.

Memorial City Mall
Later in the week, I met up with my family for another fun outting... We headed up to Memorial City Mall for a little shopping, the playground, lunch, carousel fun, and a stop at the fun new candy store they have.
My daughter and her poses for pictures these days, lol:

Movie and lunch
A couple days after Christmas, Kelli and my parents came out to Pearland to meet me and the kids for a movie and lunch! We saw the movie Sing and then had Chick Fil A after. Fun little outting! never a dull moment with the sister. We tried out mom's new camera features on her new phone, hehe..
Christmas Day
Christmas morning at Uncle Jeff's house! Most of these pictures are pretty self-explanatory. It was such a wonderful morning celebrating with the Jeff and Dan families who were all staying at Jeff's house. The girls (Syd, Jessie, and Whit) made us the most amazing breakfast while my kids opened their gifts first. Then after breakfast, the teenagers/adults opened their gifts! It was a slow and laid back morning enjoying great company. The kids were in heaven with all their new toys!
The kids didn't want to do anything but play with all their new stuff the entire day! It was super low-key and so nice to just relax! We ventured outside for trying out their new scooters and walking down to grandma's a couple times but that's about it! Many more of Sam's siblings came into town that afternoon for dinner together at Grandma's. We sang Christmas carols and played games for quite some time after dinner. Love this hilarious family.

Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve Morning, Jessie had to work at her restaurant downtown so the Pearland gang decided to head that way for brunch together! Delicious food and the name and decor was so fitting for Sam and I. Made us feel right at home in the southern atmosphere. haha:
That evening, we celebrated with Mom and Dad in Clear Lake and I'm SO happy we planned it this way. Christmas Eve was always the dinner we celebrated and Sam's family always does Christmas DAY dinner. This year things lined up so much better and we didn't feel like we missed a thing in Pearland this time around. My parents made the most delicious steak meal with 3 different pies to choose from. Candle light and everything! It was so fun. Then after dinner we hung out, exchanged gifts and let this kids open their new set of pajamas. Ivy got a nightgown and Marshall got T-rex Christmas jams. They were naturally very excited for Santa to be coming. We drove them home and put them straight to bed after a tiring day. Thanks Mom and Dad for such a delicious dinner!
