February Love

Ivy had her last day for preschool for a little while (teacher was going on maternity leave) and they made bread together! AND she actually ate it! This was a big deal in our house for a girl that never touches bread! Oh and the right picture is Marshall being such a helper while I unload the dishwasher, of course.
We tried out a little dance class in the area for a couple weeks. I was not impressed at all with the teacher or the quality of the class so we stopped going. Ivy had fun though and looked adorable in her dance outfit. Some day we will find a good class for this girl!
Spirit of Valentine's day hitting our house-- Ivy giving little brother a big hug (not even prompted) and saying "I love you, Marshall."
Making valentine's together for her toddler time group! She colored on the back of the notes and added the stickers! They were ring bubbles with a note that said "Blowing kisses your way! Love, Ivy"

Library toddler time's Valentine's Day Party! Miss Cindy always puts together the best holiday activities for these kids! My kiddos had a blast! We love Miss Cindy!
Learning "Skidamarink a-dink a-dink." Marshall loved trying to do it too, hehe--

Dad Robinson turns 70!

The last weekend of January, Sam went down to Houston to celebrate his Dad's 70th birthday with lots of family and friends! With the way his school schedule was this year, he wasn't able to take off any days from school so it was just a short weekend trip. Lots of aunts and uncles and most of his siblings were there for the event! They had a western themed party and Sam even sang a song for his dad that he wrote. Seemed like everyone had a great time! Glad they all had lots of fun! Happy Birthday Dad!!

All the brothers with their dad. Good looking bunch!!

January in a nutshell

Just some snapshots from life back in Tennessee after the holidays. January was pretty low-key so most of these are just tidbits from home.

Harrogate sunset:
Love my fridge of Christmas cards! And... having fun with Ivy's new Poparty beads she got for Christmas, hehe:
Helping mom clean:
The pic on the left is actually from when marshall got a bad fever after we got home. he was clearly not feeling well... but it was a great pic to show how long his hair had gotten! Right pic was a couple days later after his big boy haircut!
So handsome!!!! These are probably a couple of my favorite pics of this boy. I can't get over his cute little grin!!
Snowflake nails and glitter toes:

Probably the only two outings that happened in all of january.. Quarter rides at the mall one afternoon, and the park when it was finally 40 degrees again one evening:

Discovering the fun of laser pointers, lol:
Straightened hair! She looks so big! But still the biggest goofball, clearly:
Visiting with friends.. Marshall's buddies- Pierce and Maxwell:
I said to Ivy, why don't you take your baby grocery shopping? She replies, "Ok! Where's my wrap?" I just about died! Haha! Had to make her one out of a scarf:
Mr. Brown Ey

Happy boy! And chilling with his friend Aubrey:
Music day at the library's Toddler Time. Love these kiddos:
These last two pics are just to document that Sam and I participated in the DCOM talent show.. the first pic is Sam practicing his song (Stars from Les Mis), second pic is Jason and his "band" during the show. No pics of me, unfortunately. It was a fun experience! No one in Sam's school knew he was so talented so it was fun hearing everyone's reaction to his song. hehe:
