We FINALLY made it past 1 year!

After a looong, nonstop drive to houston, then 4 days later- another 3 hour drive, we finally got to San Antonio where we will be living for the rest of this summer. a week after we got here, we celebrated our big 1 year anniversary. our actual anniversary was on sunday May 4 but we decided to go on a nice date to downtown the night before. we went to Ruth's Chris steakhouse for an awesome dinner then walked along the riverwalk. it was so fun! and i know at this point i should be saying i cant believe its already been a year but i actually feel like it went by kinda slow haha... i wasnt shocked by the whole "time flies" thing. yes i love my husband and yes we have lots of fun together but for some reason, i wasnt surprised when 1 year started creepin up on us. a lot has happened in the past year.. things did seem to move kinda quick when we were in school tho. maybe the years to come will pass even more quickly and soon enough i will be saying to myself "man where have the years gone? wish it hadnt just flown by!" lol.. maybe i should just take advantage of this time we have to ourselves during college before our real life with real jobs and babies begins........... yeah we definitely should do that.

Tiffany's wedding

My best friend tiffany got married to my friend matt back in april and i flew down for the ceremony and family dinner party. it was SOOO fun and SOOO worth just being there for that one day. had to fly right back to utah for concerts and finals. anyways, this was just after the wedding at the houston temple. tiffany looked gorgeous and both of them look so happy!

i love my girls! it was so fun being with em again.. and all 3 of us finally being married:

The dinner was on a yacht that night for mostly family and a few close friends. it was so fun:

No hubby for me that night. it was ok tho... i had a blast anyways because i have the best friends ever! :)

Last choir concert

Sam and i are in the BYU Concert Choir together and we had our last concert of the year this past weekend. i cant believe school is almost over already. its pretty exciting. it was also cool that mom was in town this same week so she was able to come see us. the concert turned out great, even tho i was totally sick through the whole thing, that wasnt fun lol...

Mexico!

So at the end of February, we took a trip down to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for about 5 days really just because... no ones bday and not really close to our anniversary or anything. when we got home from christmas and were back in school for about a week, we both turned to eachother and said, we need another break!! haha.. i guess christmas break isn't really a break when you have so much going on with family and what not.. and getting into back into school made us realize it was gonna be a looong semester with no spring break or anything so we decided to make our own haha... and it was totally worth it! we did eveything we could have done.. from rock climbing, to kayaking, and from parasailing to ziplining, it was quite a packed few days... also very nice to just sit and relax on the beach and watch the sunset together every night. if you are ever looking for somewhere to get away, we recommend mexico. we had so much fun!

we finally got a blog!

so i gave in and finally decided to get a blog. it will be fun! im excited because i know some of you people who already have one! im sure it will be great to catch up and stay connected with everyone.
