Labor Day Weekend

Sam's brother Dan and his family came up for a couple days over Labor Day weekend and it was SO fun having them visit! Dan and Richelle have 3 boys who are already in high school! Crazy how fast all these kids are growing up! Ivy loves her cousins and they are good sports when it comes to playing with her (and marshall). She even got them to sit in on a tea party for a few minutes. haha! We went to Warriors Path for some park play (while the boys played disc golf), then did some kayaking and canoeing in the afternoon. Loved having them come up! 

Fern Valley Farm

The first weekend of September, we were invite to a birthday party for a new friend here in town. Madi was turning 5 and her and Ivy have become pretty good friends. It was held at a cute little farm nearby and it such a fun family event. They got to see and feed the animals, hold some bunnies, enjoyed some cake and ice cream, then played some fun family games. Thanks to Madi's mom Shannon for the invite! It really was such a fun day! My kids were in heaven.

Marshall fell in love with the sheep dog that lived at the farm. A mix between a newfoundland and a great pyrenees. He was practically a horse! Marshall thought he was big enough to ride, apparently, lol:
