Easter

We had quite a few little Easter celebrations around this area just after my birthday back in April... This first egg hunt was at the city park and after weeks of warm weather, Mother Nature decided to throw a windy, 40 degree curve ball! So sweaters it was! This event lasted all of 15 minutes from start to finish. The eggs were gone in a snap! The kids had SO much fun going across the huge field picking them up. Then Easter was the next morning and with so many eggs and quite a big of candy, We decided to let them do one last egg hunt in our front yard. Then the kids got some short tractor rides on Mr. Pat's mower! Gotta love the country life. lol.. We had some delicious Chicken salad sandwiches for dinner, finishing it off with a molten lava cake in the crock pot. It was amazing. We had such a great day celebrating life and family together!

Marshall the destroyer. This was not even 10 minutes after finding their baskets, LOL!!
My cuuuute kids!! I seriously am obsessed with this photo. and them:
We didn't quite have time to dye eggs so we decided to just do it the day after! Ivy thought it was super cool. Marshall just wanted to eat the eggs. haha:

The big 28!

I turned 28 at the end of our Spring Break and it worked out perfectly so Sam could spend the entire day with us! All I wanted for my birthday was a shopping spree to buy some much needed new clothing. We headed down to Knoxville (with a stop for donuts on the way, hehe) and started shopping! Had an awesome lunch at Pei Wei then shopped some more! Sam was the best husband ever for letting me shop in peace in most of the stores! It was amazing to have his help as opposed to most other times when it's just me and the kids! Trying on clothing without distractions was so heavenly! haha! Stopped by the Puppy Zone to let the kids play with some puppies then headed home.. After the kids were in bed, Sam grabbed some amazing cake slices from Gondelier near our house to finish off the evening. Thanks to my little family for making my day so sooo awesome! And many thanks to everyone else for the birthday wishes! Here's to my first year of grey hairs and dark circles under my eyes! So glad it's over! So long 27! Let's hope 28 has good things in store for me (and maybe less grey hairs, lol)!!

First dentist visit

Ivy had her first visit to the dentist and it went great! She was a big girl and did everything they asked her to do. No crying or no anxiety AND no cavities! Whew! Not sure how that happened but I will take it! hahaha... Showing off her clean teeth:

Spring Break with Sam

Just a few more outings with Sam over spring break. Gatlinburg was the first weekend, then it was pretty laid back days the rest of the week! It was SO nice having Sam around a little more than normal. He did do some studying but wasn't nearly as busy as normal. Much needed break! We hiked tri-state peak with the kids! Ivy hiked the whole way by herself and never asked to be carried (on Sam's shoulders)!! Tough girl!

Daddy came to library time! We made bunny go-carts for the Easter celebration. And had a cute little egg hunt throughout the library:

Random March

My wonderful husband set this lovely picture ^^ as my Lock screen one night after asking him to kill a spider, then leaving the room for a minute. It about made me jump ten feet. haha! Guess he keeps me on my toes! Haha that was cheesy.
St. Patrick's Day! We didn't do much besides drinking some green milk and the only green outfits I could find in their closets. She still looked so cute in her play dress so I had to snap a pic...

Crafts with this girl! She sure is growing up! Painted the flower (finger) all by herself! And also, had to get a picture of her covered in her Poparty beads. She insisted on using up EVERY ring and EVERY bracelet, hehe...
 Marshall Madness:
Date night called for some fancy lips. Live music at our hole-in-the-wall Italian place nearby. Perfect night!

Two peas in a laundry bin:
More shenanigans... Marshall has become quite the climber, and peeking outside at the roof workers, lol!!!
